We are looking for a talentedGlobal Aviation IT Application Specialistto strengthen our client's team:

TheGlobal Aviation IT Applications Support Teamis a second-line support team that deals with functional and technical issues with applications that are essential for air and ground logistics.

Disruptions in these applications can lead to delays in air and ground operations and can have a significant impact. Therefore, most of these applications arebusiness-critical and essential to the mission..

Key critical applications:

  • Sable: Application for aircraft weight and balance
  • GOALS: Digital system for loading and unloading aircraft
  • NMIV: Application for network movements (air and ground)
  • Netline: Application for air fleet planning, operations, and slot management
  • TMS: Application for planning European ground transport (trucks)
  • Middleware: Connects all these applications via message exchange
  • Calms: Commercial aviation management application (used by our partner airlines)
  • Arcom: Application for communication and messaging with aircraft
  • LIDO: Application for flight plan management

Responsibilities

  • Support for incidents, problems, and change management
  • User support for functional application issues
  • Technical error analysis and reporting
  • EIM (Emergency Incident Management): On-call services to coordinate critical application situations
  • Monitoring of application availability and message traffic
  • Testing of applications and message traffic
  • Maintaining and keeping all required documentation up to date 
  • Participation in on-call duties

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Passion for software products
  • Perfectly written English
  • Very creative and independent
  • Valid work visa for Belgium
  • Basic knowledge of air and ground operations
  • Experience in Field Operations or as a Service Desk Agent is a plus 
  • Basic knowledge of Aviation IT applications
