Technical Lead (Geomatician) RTO

Overview:
As a Technical Lead Expert specializing in GIS, you’ll be at the forefront of spatial data management for transportation infrastructure and real-time operations.

Responsibilities:

• GIS Implementation: Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for railway projects, ensuring accurate geospatial data collection, analysis, and visualization.
• Railway Network Mapping: Collaborate with engineering teams to map railway networks, track layouts, and station locations.
• Route Optimization: Apply geospatial techniques to optimize rail routes, considering factors like terrain, safety, and efficiency.
• Asset Management: Manage geospatial databases for railway assets, including tracks, signals, bridges, and tunnels.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including railway operators, contractors and third parties.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, adherence to standards, and compliance with safety regulations.

Conformity Criteria

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Geoscience or Aeronautic
• At least 6 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, ESRI suite
• Proven Geoserver, Geodatabase development experience
• ESRI Certified
• Minimum of B2 CEFR level in English

Evaluation criteria

• Coding experience in .NET or Python
• B2 CEFR level in French or Dutch
• Knowledge of railway infrastructure, signaling systems, and track alignment are a plus
• Project management skills
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience on ArcGis products
