Your role:
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives with high technical and organizational complexity. You will oversee transversal projects involving multiple departments, external partners, and critical application landscapes, including SAP.
Your leadership, strategic mindset, and ability to structure execution are essential to drive the company’s digital transformation.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead complex IT programs and projects: strategic scoping, roadmap definition, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure governance and transversal coordination: steering committees, dependency management, and communication with business leaders.
• Oversee technical aspects: strong understanding of architectures, integrations, data flows, and SAP-related constraints.
• Advanced budget management: build, monitor, and optimize multi-project budgets.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams: internal teams, external partners, SAP integrators, and technical experts.
• Risk and quality management: anticipate issues, define mitigation plans, arbitrate decisions, and ensure deliverable quality.
• Drive large-scale change management: adoption strategy, communication, training, and user support.
• Promote continuous improvement and standardization: implement methodologies, optimize processes, and capitalize on best practices.
• If necessary, you coordinate a study, an RFI, or an RFP.
• You update the project documentation in accordance with the applicable methodologies (PMLC). You also oversee the update of the reference documentation for the applications and infrastructures involved in your project(s), in line with the SDLC methodology.

Vaardigheden

• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including internal teams, external partners, and SAP integrators — Must have
• Proven experience in governance and steering committee activities, driving structured reporting, managing cross project dependencies, and maintaining alignment with the different project stakeholders — Must have
• Proven experience in IT Project Management, demonstrating success in leading and delivering complex projects — Must have (8 years, Senior)
• Proven experience in project budgeting, including budget creation (estimates), monitoring, and optimization — Must have
• Proven experience in risk management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle — Must have
• Proven experience leading the end to end implementation of an HRIS, Finance, or Logistics system/solution, not necessarily SAP — Must have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, or management — Must have
• Knowledge of ITIL principles — Should have
• Proven experience in the Belgian energy sector or Belgian public sector — Should have
• Proven in managing or participating in RFI/RFP processes — Should have

Context

De organisatie is de operator van de gas- en elektriciteitsnetwerken in Brussel. Met ongeveer 1.000 medewerkers zorgt de organisatie dagelijks voor de energievoorziening van 500.000 huishoudens en bedrijven in de Brusselse regio. De teams dragen bij aan het verbeteren van de levenskwaliteit van de Brusselaars en spelen een sleutelrol in de energietransitie.

Welke afdeling?

De Digital Business Solutions (DBS) afdeling ondersteunt alle kernactiviteiten van de organisatie. De missie is om een autonome en toekomstbestendige IT-landschap te bieden, afgestemd op evoluerende behoeften en technologische ontwikkelingen.

Binnen DBS ondersteunt het ERP-team de HR-, Finance-, Logistics- en Procurement-afdelingen bij het optimaliseren van processen en verbeteren van de gebruikerservaring. Dit omvat het verbeteren van bestaande applicaties of het ontwikkelen van nieuwe oplossingen op maat van interne stakeholders. Het ERP-team bestaat uit ongeveer vijftien professionals, waaronder projectmanagers, functionele analisten en ontwikkelaars.

Voor het ERP-team zoekt de organisatie een Senior IT Project Manager, die rechtstreeks rapporteert aan de ERP Team Manager.
