Within the BI & Analytics team, you will work as an application analyst/developer for projects of the NMBS Train Maintenance department. You will combine the roles of Application Owner, developer, and Functional Analyst.

• You will identify and document NMBS's needs for the reports and dashboards for which you are responsible.
• You will translate these needs into concrete functional specifications for specific reporting purposes.
• You will maintain regular contact with various departments and their directors.
• You are interested in maintenance schedules, immobilization schedules, transport plans, and human resources related to work schedules, and you are willing to conduct site visits to various workshops throughout the country.
• You will provide input and proposals regarding reporting techniques to the business through mock-ups, Proof of Concepts, and best practices.
• You will validate the reports and dashboards developed by an internal or external developer.
• You will document the solutions and keep this documentation up-to-date.
• You regularly coordinate with users, suppliers, and other stakeholders to develop and manage the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents).
• As an expert in the application(s), reports, and dashboards you manage, you are the point of contact for colleagues and business stakeholders.
• You continuously monitor the consistency with existing business and solution architecture and consult with Enterprise, System, and Solution Architects as needed.
• You contribute to the development of test scenarios, functional testing, and data cleansing.

Conformity Criteria

• A masters' degree in a related field: IT - (commercial) engineering - economics
• +15 years of experience in SAP BW-BW/4HANA
• +3 years of experience in the railway sector
• Has obtained relevant SAP certifications: BW - BW/4HANA - Datasphere
• For this assignment, the contractor must agree to be present at the office up to five days per week for the execution of the assignment. The required on-site presence may vary and will be communicated during the course of the assignment.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English. Dutch or French at C level, others at least B2

Evaluation Criteria

The extent to which the proposal demonstrates the required competencies and complies with the stated requirements will be taken into account during the evaluation. Proposals that demonstrate these competencies and requirements more clearly, comprehensively, and convincingly will receive a higher score. Where specific experience is requested, a greater amount of demonstrable relevant experience will result in a higher evaluation score.

• In-depth knowledge of and demonstrated experience with reporting tools: SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, Webi, BO, SAP Analytics Cloud, and PowerBi
• Experience with a migration process from BW (7.x) to BW/4HANA
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PM
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, PM, and PS is a plus
• Knowledge of various analysis techniques (use cases, scenario development, etc.)
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum
