Expert Functional Analyst - Brussels

As a Functional Analyst within the Channels & Customer Experience- Enterprises (CCE-E) Tribe, you will contribute to the tribe's mission of innovating together with our business clients to create intelligent solutions that help them achieve their goals.

Acting as the bridge between business and IT, you will translate business needs into clear functional requirements and support the delivery of customer-centric, compliant, and reliable digital services across our enterprise channels and ecosystems.

Your Future Job

As an expert functional analyst, you are part of an interfunctional Agile team. Together, you design and develop high-quality applications to meet the evolving needs of customers.

Your main activities:

• You play a key role in easing alignment between business and IT stakeholders, facilitating complex discussions, and define with the teams the most appropriate solution addressing the business needs.
• You define functional requirements and propose feasible solutions, evaluating the pros and cons of each.
• You design detailed functional solutions aligned with the target architecture and ensure a shared understanding across the delivery team.
• With your functional insights, you provide guidance & clarification to the developers & testers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• In every activity you contribute to, you continuously challenge way of working & promote best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

The ability to build bridges between stakeholders, influence decisions-making and foster collaboration is as important as the ability to analyze requirements and design solutions.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex business and IT environment.
• You learn quickly, adapt easily, and challenge constructively.
• You communicate clearly, listen actively, and bring people together around shared solutions.
• You are comfortable navigating different viewpoints and building stakeholder alignment.
• You are results-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused.
• You take ownership, work autonomously, and proactively drive continuous improvement.
• You embody Agile and Scrum values: commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage.
• You enjoy collaborating, facilitating discussions, and sharing knowledge with others.
• You have an excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.

What will help you to succeed :

• Practical knowledge and experience about API, Java-based distributed applications, Mainframe programs, SQL queries, and data management.
• Experience in software testing and testing tools.
• (Strong) Experience in software lifecycle management.

Telework : 50 % Onsite.
