We're looking for a Senior Sitecore Developer to lead our Web Team's advancements. With at least 10 years of experience, you've adeptly navigated the landscape of web development, crafting immersive and user-friendly web platforms. Your prowess in Sitecore CMS and backend integration will be crucial in propelling our web initiatives to the forefront, ensuring state-of-the-art, seamless, and user-driven web experiences.
This position is 100% remote
Responsibilities:
- Web Development Leadership: Steer our Sitecore projects, developing intricate web platforms, ensuring top-notch user experience and consistency.
- Performance Oversight: Oversee the evaluation and enhancement of web platform performance, ensuring smooth operation and high reliability.
- Backend Integration Mastery: Collaborate closely with the backend team, integrating web platforms for consistent and real-time data exchange.
- Design Collaboration: Convert complex UI/UX designs into seamless, top-quality web interfaces, while setting standards for the wider developer team.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure seamless functionality across various browsers, troubleshooting any browser-specific challenges.
- Continued Advancement: Lead the integration of the latest trends in Sitecore and web development, fostering an environment of ongoing learning and evolution.
- Testing & Assurance Leadership: Set benchmarks using Sitecore-centric testing tools to ensure the reliability and unparalleled performance of web platforms.
- Communication & Mentorship: Offer regular project updates, actively solve challenges, and promote transparent communication. Guide and train junior developers, sharing your wealth of knowledge and expertise.
CONFORMITY CRITERIA
Evidence of compliance with the requested skills (criteria) needs to be provided in the CV.
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Sitecore development, backed by a portfolio of impressive web platforms
- Demonstrable .NET 6 experience (ideally 8 and 9)
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience ASP.NET MVC 5
- Proven Typescript, Jquery, Angular JS, React JS, Knockout JS, Hangfire experience
- A minimum of 2 Sitecore migrations and version update related projects
- Hands-on experience with Devops, networking, deploys, environments tuning and maintenance intranet and cloud based
- Cloud Flare, Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway, F5 WAF and Load Balancer experience
- At least 5 years experience in railway domain software development
- Willingness of on-demand 24/7 availability for production incidents
- You communicate (spoken and written) in English as a mother tongue or at least C level
EVALUATION CRITERIA
For each evaluation criterion, the expectation is that your CV clearly demonstrates relevant experience or knowledge through one or more examples/projects. The more relevant experience or knowledge you can provide as evidence, the better your CV will be evaluated.
- Proven aptitude in performance optimization techniques, ensuring consistency across diverse web browsers and versions in min. 3 projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of application architecture, software design patterns, and modern software development principles, as evidenced by relevant professional experience in the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile software development environments, including participation in iterative development processes and multidisciplinary teams. At least in 3 projects from A to Z.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and to contribute to knowledge sharing and coaching of team members, as demonstrated through previous assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as evidenced by relevant professional experience in the last 5 years.
