ServiceNow integrations technical consultant

Primary objective: Deliver ServiceNow integration solutions by configuring and developing robust integrations between ServiceNow and external systems in collaboration with functional consultants, platform architects, and other team members.

Secondary objective: Configuration or development of non-integration related ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, SAM, CMDB, … )

Act as a subject matter expert (SME): Provide thought leadership, guidance, and best practices to stakeholders and internal teams regarding ServiceNow integrations.

Conformity criteria

  • Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator Certification + ServiceNow IntegrationHub Specialist and/or Developer certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant
  • Must work from within EER
  • Languages: English at level C

Evaluation criteria

The extent to which the proposal demonstrates the required competencies and complies with the stated requirements will be taken into account during the evaluation. Proposals that demonstrate these competencies and requirements more clearly, comprehensively, and convincingly will receive a higher score. Where specific experience is requested, a greater amount of demonstrable relevant experience will result in a higher evaluation score.

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations (such as SAP, Jira, Microsoft Azure) using Integration Hub, REST, SOAP and development.
  • Expertise in implementation of ServiceNow technical components, such as business rules, script includes, transform maps, and custom workflows.
  • Expertise in programming languages and frameworks: JavaScript (client and server-side), JSON, XML, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Expertise with Authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, etc.) and MID server setup.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data transformation techniques
  • Expertise in development and maintenance of ATF’s
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Best Practices and awareness of the platform’s latest features.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile teams (sprints, user stories).
  • Ability to articulate integration strategies and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
