UX/UI & Digital Design

We have a clear mission: to enhance the digital experience on the internal web and mobile applications that thousands of colleagues use every day.

As a UX Designer, you work end-to-end: you help frame problems with stakeholders, design flows and interfaces in Figma, validate with users, and align patterns across multiple applications through our design system.

What you will do
• Prepare and facilitate workshops: You spark creativity and innovation by preparing and running workshops.
• Design & prototyping: You bring ideas to life using low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
• User testing: You plan, run, and analyse user tests to ensure the designs work in practice.
• Governance: You implement and uphold UX design governance agreements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate & report: You work closely with UX peers, your team lead, and the project teams you are assigned to.

EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. Problem Framing & Decision Quality Demonstrable evidence that you contributed in early phases (discovery/framing/problem definition), structured business/user needs, and supported documented design decisions. CV signals: discovery activities, problem statements, requirements structuring, tradeoffs/decision rationale, ownership level.
2. Interaction Design for Efficiency & Safety Proved experience in designing operational/internal tools where efficiency, reliability and complex cases matter. CV signals: enterprise/internal platforms, data-heavy workflows, edge cases/states, error prevention/recovery, task efficiency.
3. Visual Communication & UI Clarity in Data-Dense Interfaces Proven experience in designing structured, readable UI for data-heavy screens in business contexts. CV signals: dashboards/tables/filters/bulk actions, information hierarchy, accessibility basics, UI standards/design system usage.
4. Influence, Alignment & Workshop Facilitation Confirmed experience in aligning stakeholders and facilitating collaboration across business and technical teams. CV signals: workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, decision facilitation, crossteam alignment, documented outcomes.
5. System Thinking & Delivery Partnership (Agile) Confirmed experience working in Agile delivery and multi-team/multi-product contexts, ensuring consistency and strong collaboration with engineering.

CV signals: Scrum/Kanban delivery, design system exposure/contribution, standardisation across products, handover + iteration during build.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PROVIDE CV WHICH CONTAINS :
1. End-to-end UX/UI experience (5+ years) At least 5 years of end-to-end UX/UI product design experience (problem framing → flows/IA → UI design → validation/iteration).
2. Portfolio with recent, relevant cases A portfolio including at least 2 case studies delivered in the last 3 years, clearly describing your role, approach/process, and outcomes.
3. Figma seniority (3+ years) + component libraries At least 3 years of hands-on Figma experience, including Auto Layout, working with variants, and creating/maintaining scalable component libraries, with developer-ready delivery.
4. Design system experience (using and extending) At least 2 concrete examples within the last 3 years worked with, built and/or maintained an internal design system (web and/or mobile), including component/pattern maintenance and governance/documentation.
5. Enterprise/internal platform design in data-heavy contexts + standardisation At least 2 years experience designing complex internal/enterprise applications with data-heavy UI (e.g., tables, filters, bulk actions, dashboards) and experience standardising patterns/components/tokens across multiple applications/teams/modules.
6. Languages: Native Dutch and/or French; professional proficiency in English.
7. Location: 2 onsite days/week in Brussels — Monday (UX team day) and Thursday (project team) to support effective collaboration. Occasionally, you may be asked to work at another site (in Belgium) to interview end users at their workplace
