System Engineer

Onderhoud & beheer van alle end user devices (desktop, laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, tablets & industrial devices) via de verschillende gebruikte platformen.

Doel
Het technisch uitbouwen, plannen en onderhouden vanuit de eigen specifieke technische specialisatie van de back-end & endpoint infrastructuur teneinde een continuïteit en efficiëntie van de back-end & endpoint infrastructuur te verzekeren die beantwoordt aan de noden van de klant organisatie, inclusief haar filialen.

Hoofdactiviteiten

Beheer van de back-end & endpoint infrastructuur:

• evalueert de backend & endpoint-infrastructuur omgeving om upgrades, wijzigingen & uitbreidingen te definiëren en verbetervoorstellen naar voren te brengen
• voert haalbaarheidsstudies uit en evalueert de verschillende soft- en hardware oplossingen die tegemoet kunnen komen aan de behoeften van de infrastructuur zodat het management de meest optimale oplossing kan kiezen
• informeert en begeleidt de Ypto-infrastructuurgebruikers om ervoor te zorgen dat de systemen optimaal en efficiënt gebruikt worden
• stelt het technisch design op in lijn met specifieke architectuurvereisten
• voert de wijzigingen, upgrades en uitbreidingen uit aan soft- en hardware om steeds te beschikken over technieken en mogelijkheden die het best aansluiten bij de gebruikersbehoeften, om nieuwe projecten te realiseren of bestaande systemen uit te breiden
• levert de nodige ondersteuning en onderhoud aan op de B-IT-infrastructuur conform de ITIL-methodologie
• neemt indien nodig deel aan ‘On call’ om een optimale beschikbaarheid te kunnen garanderen

Adviseren:

• geeft technisch advies en informatie aan interne en externe klanten om hen toe te laten een correcte inschatting te maken van de technische mogelijkheden en beperkingen en dit op basis van de (B-IT) gebruikte technologie stack
• denkt kritisch mee over mogelijke verbetering in procedures en werkwijzen binnen projecten en binnen de eigen afdeling
• treedt op als aanspreekpunt vanuit het specifiek expertisegebied

Kennisbeheer:

• houdt de eigen kennis actief op peil en wisselt deze kennis en ervaring uit binnen het eigen vakgebied (technisch) naar de andere collega’s
• breidt uit en houdt up to date van de beschikbare documentatie

Conformity Criteria

Evidence of compliance with requested skills (criteria) needs to be provided in CV.

• Knowledge level = Bachelor (or equal by experience)
• Working experience in big environments (with at least 100.000 endpoints fi laptops, desktops) and 1000> softwares
• Relevant working experience in the same function & likewise environments for at least 10 years
• Certification (MCSA, MCSE, MCSD)
• Fluent Dutch or French (C2-level) + very good English (C1-level)
• For this assignment, Ypto NV requires the contractor to agree to be present at the Ypto office up to five days per week for the execution of the assignment. The required on-site presence may vary and will be communicated by Ypto NV to the contractor during the course of the assignment.

Evaluation Criteria

The extent to which the proposal demonstrates the required competencies and complies with the stated requirements will be taken into account during the evaluation. Proposals that demonstrate these competencies and requirements more clearly, comprehensively, and convincingly will receive a higher score. Where specific experience is requested, a greater amount of demonstrable relevant experience will result in a higher evaluation score.

• In depth expertise of infrastructure Stack (OS, virtualisation, imaging, deployment, scripting & management toolset) based on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and IOS technology
• In depth expertise of Active Directory (understand/configure/maintain domains, trees, forests, trusts, groups, users, OU’s, sites,…), LDAP, GPO
• In depth expertise of Intune including: MDM, MAM, BYOD, Enterprise Mobility en Security Suite, Conditional Access Policies, MDM 3rd party solutions like Knox, KAI, …
• In depth expertise of System Center Configuration Manager (distribution groups, task sequence, software management,...)
• Broad expertise of Azure (static groups, dynamic groups, license assignment,…)
• Broad expertise in different tools like Windows Defender, PatchMyPC, Patching tools, Office Tools (Office 365) including collaboration tools (Exchange/Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint), Servicenow, PM²
• Broad expertise of networking like TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
• Broad expertise of scripting (Powershell,VBscript)
