Lead Architect Consultant (EA / ARIS)

We are looking IMMEDIATELY for a highly experienced Reference Lead Architect consultant to assist the EA team in planning, managing, and supervising the implementation of Enterprise Architecture practices with the ARIS solution:

  • Co-define and provide advice for:
    • Defining Enterprise Architect standards, frameworks, and principles.
    • Supporting an agile approach to deliver MVPs for the EA solution based on ARIS
    • Using best practices to define methods and tools for EA stream leads and stakeholders
    • Providing knowledge and best practices for governance processes in the EA solution
    • Identifying risks that could affect EA projects
    • Establishing communication/relationships between both IT staff and non-technical staff
    • Reviewing (changes)
    • Acting as a reference resource for the EA team for the ARIS Solution

Key responsibilities:

  • Design the overall picture for the EA solution (e.g., metamodel); analyze existing content and best (re)use in ARIS;
  • Advise on architectural standards, building blocks, artifacts, and EA deliverables;
  • Support the EA project team during development, migration, and maintenance; review ARIS technical specifications;
  • Quality review of the EA solution; establish communication between IT and non-technical stakeholders.

CONFORMITY CRITERIA

  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and/or BPM.
  2. Demonstrable experience in at least 3 projects developing/implementing EA solutions on the ARIS platform for EA teams.
  3. Working knowledge of ArchiMate and BPMN modeling and of ARIS for EA.
  4. Minimum 8 years of experience defining EA frameworks, ARIS governance, and ARIS metamodels.
  5. Minimum 8 years of experience in the public sector.
  6. You communicate fluently in Dutch or French and English. Dutch or French at C level, others at least B1.
  7. Legal authorization to work in Belgium.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

For each evaluation criterion, your CV is expected to clearly demonstrate relevant experience or knowledge through one or more examples/projects. The more relevant experience or knowledge you can provide as evidence, the better your CV will be evaluated.

  • Breadth & seniority of EA experience (20+ years, multiple industries including public sector)
  • Combined Enterprise + Solution Architecture + BPM capability across the full EA lifecycle
  • Proven knowledge of EA frameworks and the ARIS meta-model
  • Certifications (ArchiMate, BPMN, ARIS, Prometa) — considered an asset
  • Stakeholder communication (technical & non-technical), can-do mentality, win-win approach
