Wintel Server Engineer (BE-Brussels)

For one of our clients, we are looking for a halftime Wintel Server Engineer

Mission:

Objective of the job
· Assist our VMS engineer in lifecycle management, support and tuning of the VMS infrastructure. Be able to replace our VMS engineer during holidays.
· Increase level of documentation of our existing VMS infrastructure;
· Assistance in migrating the datawarehouse (SAS) towards Windows 2008;

You will be member of the I&O Server Engineering team, which is responsible for the following services and products:
- Windows 2003R2 and Windows 2008R2
- WINS, DNS, DHCP
- Server staging infrastructure
- SCCM 2007R2
- SCOM 2007R2
- Sharepoint
- Exchange
- Server hardware infrastructure
- Server virtualisation infrastructure
- DMZ & security infrastructure
- Storage and backup infrastructure
- VMS

Profile:

Required level and content of education
University degree

Technical experience required
Mandatory: - VMS 7.3-2 or 8.3
Preferable:
- Windows Server 2008 (64bit)
- Cockpitmanager 7.2
- ABS 4.5
- CA Scheduler
- Powershell scripting

Functional experience required
Mandatory: Documenting skills: must be able to describe technical information in an orderly fashion

Language skills:
Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch.
