Project Manager - Payment Cards (BE-Brussels)

The Bank will be financially responsible for its own card transactions and has to fulfil obligations of MasterCard. Internally, the Bank has to take over some activities such as settlement and accounting, etc. for which solutions need to be developed

Mission:

This project impact 4 IT delivery teams, one of them are involved in the writing of a totally new application in Payments.

• Overall responsibility on the project – about 1000md
• Managing 3 delegated work packages and leading a fourth one.
• One of the application components is a totally new one, others are modifications to existing ones
• As an IT Project Manager, ensuring coordination on delivery and testing between Business, IT and Operation units in close relationship with the Business Project Manager..
• Planned execution phase start: November 1, 2009
• Planned Pilot start – July 2010
• Rollout – August / Septembre 2010

Profile:

• Project Management experience with similar projects in size and complexity
• Knowledge of Payment Cards business (mainly issuing)
• Knowledge of financial flows around clearing, settlement, reconciliation, …
• Prince2 and CMMI exposure
