Junior functional project coordinator (BE-Brussels)


This (Junior) Project coordinator will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below


Mission:

$ Plan and coordinate projects in the department
§ Contribute to the Scope definition and Requirements gathering phase
§ Coordinate, prepare and execute tests in the Payments area


Profile:

Required level and content of education
University graduate or Graduate.

Personal skills
Mandatory:
- precision and clarity (oral, written)
- communicative (with team members and with IT colleagues & other partners)
– sound knowledge of English is a must
Preferable:
- flexibility (in peak periods extra efforts may be required; willingness to work hard)
- fast learner
- team player
- ability to compromise on solutions with multiple parties (Business, IT)
- coaching skills
- experience with team leading is a plus

Business experience required
Mandatory:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in banking, in a project environment
Preferable:
- knowledge of SEPA payments
- knowledge of domestic payments
- knowledge of international payments

Technical experience required
Mandatory:
- affinity with IT systems and processes
- ability to work with IT department to transfer & explain specifications to developers
Preferable:
- experience with a banking package is a plus

Functional experience required
Mandatory:
- experience with planning and structuring a project
- expertise in functional/technical analysis, test preparation & execution, roll-out support (‘V-model’)
- ability to work with IT department to sign-off IT developments during the integration testing phases
- risk awareness (judging severity of incidents)
Preferable:
- experience with a project planning tool (such as ‘Microsoft Project’) is a plus
- experience with defects and incident management
- experience with change requests management

language requirements:
English and French and/or Dutch is required (spoken & written).
