Wintel system engineer (BE-Brussels)

We are looking for a Wintel system engineer for one of our customers in Brussels

Mission:

· Depending of the team workload, switch between server and workstation tasks
· Create system infrastructure designs,
· Ensure 3rd level support,
· Life cycle management,
· Provide consultancy on projects,
· Propose hardware standards
· Deliver operational handbooks, disaster recovery handbooks, …
· Give advice on possible improvements of the system infrastructure

Profile:

Required level and content of education
University grade, or bachelor degree

Personal skills
Mandatory: Analytical thinking, Good communicator, Customer-orientation, Able to work in a team (Team player), Fast learning skills, Be flexible, Open minded, Risk consciousness
Preferable: Immunity to stress

Business experience required
Preferable: Experience in large environments

Technical experience required
Mandatory: Experience with scripting or programming languages
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows server (2003) technology and infrastructure.
Good documenting skills
Preferable: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (XP) workstation technology and infrastructure, Knowledge of Xbow environment is a big advantage

Language requirements:
Fluent in French or Dutch, Good knowledge of English
