Senior .net developer (BE-Brussels)

We are looking for a developer to strengthen the team that is developing the front end using .NET technology.

Mission:

- Develop web applications based on functional input documents
- Create screen layout propositions (mock ups, prototypes)
- Provide work estimations
- Write technical design documents and/or technical analyses for other developers
- Plan and follow up on tasks for the developers of the team
- Perform unit testing and pre-integration testing
- Act as contact person for project related technical issues
- Offer coaching and/or technical support in the team

Profile:

Required level and content of education:
Master or bachelor degree in IT or at least 5 years of relevant IT experience

Business experience required
Mandatory:
- 5+ years of professional experience in an IT Services environment
Preferable:
- Knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus.

Technical experience required
Mandatory:
- Advanced knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET and C# technologies
- Experience with websites and applications design
- Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
- Experienced user of MS Office tools
Preferable:
- Model-View-Controller design pattern knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge on websites ergonomy

Functional experience required
Mandatory:
- Experience of client-server web based applications

Language requirements:
Fluent in at least two of the following languages: French, Dutch and English, understand the third
language
